Case related to personality rights: Delhi High Court issues notice to Salman Khan, next hearing will be on February 27

Delhi High Court has agreed to consider the petition filed by a Chinese AI voice platform in the case related to personality rights of actor Salman Khan. The order of Delhi High Court has been challenged by the Chinese AI platform. This order was passed to prevent commercial misuse of the actor’s voice, name, image and identity.

Notice issued to Salman Khan

Delhi High Court has issued a notice to actor Salman Khan and asked him to present his side on this petition. Delhi High Court has given four weeks time to Salman Khan to file his reply. The High Court also made it clear that further action will be decided only after hearing the arguments of all the parties in the case.

Delhi High Court has fixed February 27 as the next hearing date of this case.

Earlier, while protecting the personality rights of Salman Khan, Delhi High Court had banned the use of his name, voice and other unique identity elements without his permission.
