The European Parliament has suspended the European Union (EU) trade agreement with the US on Wednesday (January 21, 2026). The European Parliament has given a big blow to US President Donald Trump with this decision. Actually, America and EU had agreed on this trade deal in July 2025, but the European Parliament has taken this step in protest against President Trump’s demand to acquire Greenland and Trump’s threats to impose tariffs on European allies who oppose this plan.
