Big news has come for medical and dental students. National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has finally announced the exam dates of NEET PG 2026 and NEET MDS 2026. This is a news of relief for thousands of students who have been waiting for the schedule of these two major examinations for a long time. NBEMS has made it clear that this time there is full preparation to conduct the examination on time.
When will the NEET PG 2026 exam be held?
As per the schedule released by NBEMS, NEET PG 2026 exam will be conducted on 30 August 2026. The cut-off date for completing internship for the candidates appearing in this examination has been fixed as 30 September 2026. That is, any medical student who wants to enroll in MD, MS or PG diploma course will have to complete their internship by this date. NEET PG is considered to be the biggest post graduate medical entrance examination in the country, hence the announcement of its date is very important for the students.
NEET MDS 2026 exam date
NBEMS has also given clear information for dental students. NEET MDS 2026 exam will be conducted on 2 May 2026. For this, the last date for completing the internship has been fixed as 31 May 2026. Through NEET MDS exam, admission to MDS course is available in dental colleges across the country. In such a situation, this is a very important update for dental graduates.
What will be the exam mode?
NBEMS has also clarified that both NEET PG 2026 and NEET MDS 2026 examinations will be conducted in computer based test mode. This exam will be conducted at different examination centers across the country, so that all the students can get a chance to take the exam easily.
