There has been a warning of heavy rain with thunder in many districts including Noida-Ghaziabad in Western UP today. An alert has also been issued regarding hailstorm in many districts. During this period, strong winds will blow at a speed of 40-50 km in the district, due to which the cold will increase further.
According to the Meteorological Department, today there are chances of heavy rain with thunder and lightning at many places in Western UP including Noida. During this period, there is a possibility of thunder and lightning at some places in the division and strong gusty winds. A warning of hailstorm has been issued today in many districts including Agra, Mathura, Saharanpur. There are chances of rain showers at some places in the eastern division also.
Rain in Noida-Ghaziabad
Friday morning started with rain in Noida-Ghaziabad adjacent to Delhi. The weather started changing since late evening yesterday, after which thick dark clouds started appearing in the sky and by morning there was light to moderate rain at many places, cold winds have increased the cold further. It is expected that rain will continue throughout the day today. The maximum temperature in Noida is expected to be 17 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 12 degrees Celsius.
Warning of hailstorm with thunder and lightning in UP
According to the Meteorological Department, the effects of active western disturbance are visible in UP. In such a situation, warnings of rain and hailstorm have been given in many places from Saharanpur to Lucknow in UP today. The rainy season is expected to continue in the coming days also. Due to which the temperature will decrease by 3-5 degrees Celsius and cold will increase.
Today in UP, there will be rain at many places with lightning in Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Sambhal, Badaun, Noida, Bulandshahr Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Agra, Firozabad, Etah and Kasganj and warning of hailstorm has also been given. At the same time, rain is expected at many places in Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad and Hapur.
Rain and strong winds along with thunderstorms have been predicted in Etawah, Mainpuri, Farrukhabad, Shahjahanpur, Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, Shravasti, Balrampur, Gonda, Barabanki, Sitapur, Lucknow, Unnao, Kanpur, Hardoi and Kannauj today.
