In Ghaziabad, a woman had accused Yash Dayal of sexual exploitation. After this, on July 23, Jaipur Police had lodged an FIR against Yash Dayal on charges of raping a minor.
Then PTI quoted Sanganer Sadar police station SHO Anil Jaiman as saying that an FIR has been registered against Yash Dayal on charges of sexual harassment under relevant sections of the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses) Act and BNS (Indian Judicial Code). According to the report, the victim had told that the cricketer sexually assaulted her for the first time in 2023, when she was 17 years old. The woman had told that all this had happened in a hotel in Sitapur area.
Quoting the SHO, the report said that the woman has accused Yash Dayal that the cricketer had promised to help her in making her career. The woman had alleged that when Yash was in Jaipur for IPL in 2023, he had called her to the hotel.
