Suryakumar gave a big statement after explosive batting, said- ‘Like this…’

Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav, after defeating New Zealand by eight wickets in the third T20 International here on Sunday to take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the series, said that he wants to play similar aggressive cricket.

Opener Abhishek Sharma scored a explosive half-century in just 14 balls while captain Suryakumar Yadav continued his brilliant form by hitting another aggressive fifty as India scored 155 runs for two wickets in 10 overs and defeated New Zealand by eight wickets.

After the match, Suryakumar said, “We want to play this kind of cricket.” We know how to bat after three wickets fall for 20 runs. The top two-three batsmen made my job easy. ”

Chasing the target of 154 runs, India made the match one-sided with power-hitting in which Abhishek scored unbeaten 68 runs in 20 balls with seven fours and five sixes while Suryakumar scored unbeaten 57 runs in 26 balls with six fours and three sixes.

Spinner Ravi Bishnoi (two wickets) along with experienced Jasprit Bumrah (three wickets) and Hardik Pandya (two wickets) made a brilliant comeback as the Indian team, with disciplined bowling, restricted New Zealand to a low score of 153 runs for nine wickets in 20 overs.

Suryakumar said, “Bishnoi’s plan is clear. He knows his strength. He knows when and how to bowl. Varun Chakraborty got good rest. ”

New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner said, “It was very difficult for us.” We did not have many runs on the scoreboard. It was a good wicket and the outfield was very fast. But the Indian bowlers bowled well and put us under pressure in the powerplay. This was a wicket of 180-190 runs. We are focusing on preparations for the World Cup. We are trying to give confidence to the players. ”

Man of the match Jasprit Bumrah (3 wickets for 17 runs in four overs) said, “I am happy to contribute to the victory for the team.” If I am given a new ball or bowled in the last over, I bowl accordingly. I am happy to do whatever the team wants from me. ”
