Yantra India Limited, a public sector company under the Defense Ministry, has released the notification of apprentice recruitment. Under this recruitment, candidates will be selected for a total of 3,979 apprentice posts. This opportunity is especially for 10th pass and ITI pass youth, who want to gain training and experience in the government sector. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through online medium.

Yantra India Limited has recruited a total of 3,979 apprentice posts for the year 2026. Out of these, more than 2,800 posts have been kept for Ex-ITI Apprentices, while more than 1,100 posts are for Non-ITI Apprentices. Candidates selected on all these posts will be given training in ordnance factories and manufacturing units located in different states of the country.
age limit
For Yantra India Limited Apprentice Recruitment, the minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 15 years and maximum age is 24 years. Age relaxation will be given to reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC and disabled candidates as per government rules.
How much stipend will you get?
Candidates selected under Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will be given stipend every month during the training period. Non-ITI Apprentice candidates will get a stipend of around Rs 8,000 to 8,500 per month, while Ex-ITI Apprentice candidates will be given a stipend of around Rs 9,000 to 9,600 per month. This amount has been decided as per the rules of the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Ability
For Non-ITI Apprentice posts, the candidate must have passed 10th from a recognized board with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate and 40 percent marks in Mathematics and Science. Whereas for Ex-ITI Apprentice posts, it is mandatory for the candidate to have passed ITI in the relevant trade and the ITI certificate should be recognized by NCVT or SCVT. This recruitment is for those youth who want to pursue a career in the government or private sector by taking training in the technical field.
How much will the application fee cost?
Application fee for this recruitment: General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to pay around Rs 200 while applying, whereas for SC, ST, women and disabled candidates, the application fee has been kept around Rs 100. Application fee will have to be paid through online mode only.
selection process
There will be no written examination in this recruitment and no interview will be conducted. Candidates will be selected from the merit list on the basis of marks obtained in 10th/ITI. Documents of the merit candidates will be scrutinized. Finally, a medical fitness test will be conducted.
