The main opposition party raised the question that why Vijay Shah has not been removed from the post of minister yet in the case of his alleged objectionable comments about Indian Army Colonel Sofia Qureshi and why was he given the responsibility of hoisting the national flag at the Republic Day function?

After this he told reporters, “Following the week-old instructions of the apex court, Shah should have been immediately removed from the post of minister, but the BJP made him hoist the flag on Republic Day. Through this, the Constitution is being challenged by the BJP.” Patwari said that resignation not being taken from Vijay Shah till now raises questions on the working style of the state Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
