National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the online application process for CUET UG 2026 from January 3, 2026. Interested students can apply by visiting the official website of NTA cuet.nta.nic.in. The last date for registration has been fixed as 31 January 2026. This means that now students have very little time left to apply.
when will the exam be held
CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted from 11 May to 31 May 2026. This examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode at examination centers set up in the country and abroad. Information about the date, shift and center of the examination will be given to the students later through the admit card.
What to do if there is a mistake in the form
Many times, students make small and big mistakes while filling the form in a hurry. Keeping this in mind, NTA has also made a provision for correction window. The correction window for CUET UG 2026 will remain open from 2 February to 4 February 2026 till 11:50 pm. During this period, students will be able to make necessary corrections in their application form.
Who can apply
To appear in CUET UG 2026, a candidate must have passed 12th from a recognized board or institute. Students who are going to appear for 12th exam in 2026 can also apply for this exam. No age limit has been fixed for this examination. That means students do not need to worry about age.
How much application fee will have to be paid
The application fee for general category students has been kept at Rs 1000. OBC (non-creamy layer) and EWS category candidates will have to pay Rs 900. The fee for SC, ST, Divyang and third gender candidates has been fixed at Rs 800. At the same time, candidates choosing examination centers outside India will have to pay a fee of Rs 4500.

- First of all candidates go to the official website cuet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on “Registration for CUET (UG) 2026” link on the homepage.
- After this select “New Registration” option and proceed.
- Now fill all the required information like name, mobile number and email ID and submit.
- Login after completion of registration.
- After login, fill your educational information, choice of examination center and other details in the dashboard.
- After this upload the photo, signature and necessary documents in the correct size.
- Now pay the application fee online and submit the form.
- Finally, take a printout of the filled form and keep it with you.
