CM Devendra Fadnavis gets emotional remembering Ajit Pawar, ‘my strong and kind-hearted friend’

There is a wave of mourning in the entire state due to the demise of veteran Maharashtra leader and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. Ajit Pawar is no more with us after his plane crashed in Baramati. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has also expressed grief over their separation.

Remembering Ajit Pawar, CM Devendra Fadnavis said, “He was a grassroots leader. Ajit Dada Bhai Pawar has passed away very tragically. There is an atmosphere of sadness in the family.”

‘Tough day for Maharashtra’

CM Fadnavis further said, “Ajit Pawar was our strong and kind-hearted friend. This is a difficult day for the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have discussed this accident with us.”

‘It was expected that Ajit Pawar would play a long innings’

CM Fadnavis said that losing such a public leader is a big loss. We both did a lot of work together. He has an important contribution in the development of Maharashtra. It was expected that Ajit Pawar would play a very long innings. We have no words for his departure at such a time.

Mountain of sorrow on Pawar family and NCP

The CM said, “It is very difficult to bear the grief that has befallen Ajit Pawar’s family, his party officials and workers. We all are with them in this time of sorrow. When Ajit Pawar’s family reaches Baramati, all the further details will be discussed with them. The CM said that he and Eknath Shinde will go to Baramati.”

Along with CM Fadnavis, every leader of Maharashtra and the general public are shocked and saddened by this accident. Everyone has tears in their eyes remembering the manner in which Ajit Pawar died suddenly. CM Fadnavis told that when the news of Ajit Pawar’s demise reached PM Modi, he immediately called him. They were completely shocked.

Call for bandh in Baramati

The whole of Baramati is saddened by the demise of its beloved leader Ajit Dada. Baramati bandh has been called today to pay tribute to Ajit Pawar. Ajit Pawar was born in the soil of Baramati and kept serving this soil. Today he breathed his last in this soil of Baramati.
