‘Border 2’ was one of the much awaited films of the year. However, after performing well for four days, the collection of ‘Border 2’ declined sharply on the 5th day and the decline became even more severe on the 6th day. Despite this, this film has defeated Bollywood’s highest grossing Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar.
‘Border 2’ box office collection update
Sunny Deol’s war drama opened with good figures at the box office. The first day box office collection of Border 2 was Rs 30 crore, due to which the audience expected that the film would make a big collection in the next three days and that is what happened. Its opening weekend earning was Rs 180 crore. However, there was a big decline in the box office collection of Border 2 on the fourth and fifth day. Let us tell you that ‘Border 2’ had opened with Rs 30 crores. After this, it earned Rs 36.5 crore on the second day, Rs 54.5 crore on the third day, Rs 59 crore on the fourth day and Rs 20 crore on the fifth day. According to Sacknilk’s early trend report, ‘Border 2’ has earned Rs 13 crore on the sixth day of its release. After which its total net collection in India has now become Rs 213 crore.
‘Border 2’ leaves behind Dhurandhar’s first week collection
There was definitely a decline in the earnings of ‘Border 2’ on the sixth day. But this film has once again defeated Bollywood’s highest grossing Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Dhurandhar’. Let us tell you that ‘Border 2’ has left behind the first week collection of ‘Dhurandhar’ in just 6 days. While ‘Border 2’ earned Rs 213 crore in 6 days, ‘Dhurandhar’ earned Rs 207 crore in the first week. That means ‘Border 2’ has defeated ‘Dhurandhar’ by 6 crores.
