Big news has come for the candidates of medical and science fields preparing for government jobs. Bhabha Atomic Research Center i.e. BARC has released the notification of Group A Recruitment 2026. In this recruitment, a total of 21 vacancies will be filled for the posts of Scientific Officer and Technical Officer. Interested candidates will be able to apply online through the official website of BARC. The online application process for this recruitment will start from 30 January 2026. Interested candidates can apply till 27 February 2026. No application will be accepted after the due date.

Which posts are included
In this recruitment, posts like Cardiologist, Radiologist, Anesthesia, Pathology, ENT, Hospital Administration and General Duty Medical Officer have been included. Apart from this, posts of Technical Officer related to Nuclear Medicine Technology have also been kept.
Ability
For these posts, it is necessary for the candidate to be qualified in the relevant field. For most of the posts, specialization degree like MD, DNB or DM along with MBBS has been sought. For Technical Officer posts, one should have MSc and required diploma in the relevant subject. Experience has also been made mandatory for some posts.
age limit
In BARC Recruitment 2026, different age limits have been fixed according to the post. Generally the age of the candidate should be between 35 to 50 years. Reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per the rules of the Central Government.
selection process
Candidates will be selected in several stages. In the first stage, the applications submitted will be reviewed and eligibility verified. After this, if necessary, written examination can be conducted. Eligible candidates will be interviewed for final selection. Selected candidates will also be subjected to document verification and medical fitness examination.
