These accounts belong to the Nationalist Congress Party, hence only the Nationalist Congress Party should get these accounts. Demand to give place to Ajit Pawar’s wife in the cabinet
A day after the death of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in a plane crash, his Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leaders have raised the demand for a berth in the state cabinet for his wife Sunetra. At the same time, the opposition Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) has indicated that it will welcome efforts to merge the rival factions.
NCP leaders also suggested that Sunetra Pawar should come forward and lead the party. Ajit Pawar’s NCP is part of the ruling Mahayuti alliance in the state which also includes the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena.
Ajit Pawar dies in plane crash
Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar died in the Baramati plane crash on Wednesday (January 28). Four more people also died along with him. On Thursday (January 29), Ajit Pawar was cremated with Hindu rituals. During this, his party leaders bid their last farewell to their leader with tearful eyes.
After the demise of Ajit Pawar, demands have started regarding the posts of his Deputy Chief Minister and Cabinet. Those posts should be filled by party leaders from the account of Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar). It is expected that a letter will be written to the CM for this.
