Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav reacted to President Draupadi Murmu’s address in the budget session and targeted the laying of metro network in Delhi Noida. He said that this government tells the President that the fastest metro rail in the world is being expanded in our country but the Prime Minister is not able to get the metro built in his parliamentary constituency.
Akhilesh Yadav said, “The government is saying that the fastest metro in the world is being expanded in our country, but the Samajwadi Party laid the metro from Noida to Greater Noida, the metro connecting Noida to Delhi was laid by the SP government, which metro have they laid?”
‘Metro is not being built in PM Modi’s area’
Taking aim at CM Yogi Adityanath, the SP President said that our Lucknow Chief Minister is far ahead. They are not building a road metro, they are building a water metro. Those who are saying that our country has the largest expansion of metro in the world, then the Chief Minister is not allowing metro to be built in Varanasi, the parliamentary constituency of the Prime Minister.
Akhilesh Yadav said that the SP government had given DPR and budget to build metro in the Prime Minister’s area. But, the Chief Minister is not allowing the Metro to be built at the Prime Minister’s place and is not able to build the Metro in his area.”

The SP president also targeted the central government regarding the VB-Jiramji Act and said that about 800 gram sabhas in UP had become urban. UP is already looking towards Delhi for the budget. Now if you are trying to reduce the budget then how will the work of UP be done? How will the poor get employment? Secondly, when they are saying that we don’t know where we have reached in the world in terms of paddy and milk in crops. The dream he had shown that farmers’ income would be doubled, has that happened?
