Bank of Baroda (BOB) has released the notification for the recruitment of IT professionals for the year 2026. Under this recruitment, the bank will make appointments on a total of 441 posts. Of these, 418 posts will be regular i.e. permanent, while 23 posts will be filled on contract basis. The bank has made it clear that the application process will be completely online and interested candidates can apply within the due date.

The application process for this recruitment of Bank of Baroda will start from 30 January 2026. Candidates can fill the application form till 19 February 2026 and the application fee will also have to be deposited by this day. This recruitment has been done by the bank for different posts related to IT, due to which there is a good opportunity for the youth studying in the technical field to get a government job.

Who can apply for IT recruitment
Only those candidates who have full time degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electronics and Communication can apply for Bank of Baroda IT Recruitment 2026. The candidate must have BE, B.Tech, ME, M.Tech or MCA degree. This degree should be from a recognized university or college. There may be slight variation in the eligibility criteria for different posts, hence candidates are advised to read the notification carefully.

The age limit for this recruitment has been fixed considering January 1, 2026 as the basis. The minimum age for regular posts has been kept at 22 years. The maximum age can be from 32 years to 37 years as per the post. Whereas for contractual posts the minimum age has been fixed at 25 years and maximum age at 40 years.

How will the selection be done?

  • The selection process in this recruitment of Bank of Baroda will be completed in several stages. Online examination can be conducted for regular posts. In this examination, the technical knowledge, understanding and ability of the candidates will be tested.
  • Candidates can also be selected for some posts on the basis of their educational qualification and work experience. Apart from this, psychometric test can be taken for some posts, through which the candidate’s behaviour, thinking ability and way of working will be understood.
  • After this the shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview. During the interview, it will be seen how suitable the candidate is for the post and how well he meets the requirements of the bank.
