According to the report of Counter Point Research, global smartphone revenue touched $135 billion between October-December, 2025. This is the highest revenue in a quarter and it has increased by 7 percent on an annual basis. During the same period, smartphone shipments have also increased by 4 percent. This shows that people are buying new phones in large quantities and are also spending huge amounts of money on them. Now people are buying more premium phones than before. Due to easy payment options and exchange offers, it has now become easier for people to buy phones.
Apple benefits the most
Apple has benefited the most from this changing trend and has come out ahead in terms of revenue. Due to the tremendous demand for iPhone 17 series, the company’s revenue has increased by 11 percent compared to last year. iPhone 17 series is being sold well in China, North America and Latin America. There is a lot of demand for the most expensive iPhone 17 Pro Max in this series, which is filling Apple’s pockets. Samsung is in second place in this matter and its volume has increased by 17 percent on annual basis. Samsung’s Galaxy A series smartphones are in huge demand in Latin America, South East Asia, Middle East, Africa and parts of Europe.
