Shobhita Dhulipala married Naga Chaitanya in December 2024. After marriage, she stayed away from films for more than a year. Recently Shobhita has made a comeback with the Telugu film Chikatilo. The actress says that at that time she needed to stay away from the limelight and this break was very important for her.

Marriage has no effect on career
Naga Chaitanya’s family is considered to be one of the largest and influential film families in Telugu cinema. When Shobhita was asked whether there has been any change in her behavior in the film industry after marriage, she clearly said that only one year has passed since her marriage and she has made her entire career through her hard work. According to Shobhita, she is definitely a part of a film family now but her work has always been separate and independent.

No in-laws, just family
Shobhita says that she does not consider her in-laws as part of the film industry but as her family. She said that when she meets them at home, they are just like family and not like people from the industry. Shobhita believes that perhaps things will become clearer in the future, but at the moment, career and family are separate for her.

The journey started from audition
Recalling her early career, Shobhita says that her journey started with many auditions and slightly different projects. He believes that when you are not a part of any film group, it is not easy to ask for help. Shobhita says that she has always believed in herself and has taken her own decisions. For him, his association with the film family still does not affect his work.

Now more clarity regarding work
Shobhita, who has settled in Hyderabad after marriage, says that now her approach to work has changed. She now knows clearly what kind of work she wants to do. She is more interested in those characters who have their own will. Shobhita wants to play such female characters which are important for the story and not those which are just for show in the film. Now she has more clarity than before about what kind of roles she wants to do.
