Former Rajasthan cabinet minister Hem Singh Bhadana passed away today (Monday, February 2) morning after his health suddenly deteriorated. He was taken to a private hospital, where doctors declared him dead. There is a wave of mourning in the political world after the demise of Bhadana.
The last rites of Hem Singh Bhadana will be performed at Bhageri Kala in his native village Kishangarh Bas at 12 noon. Alwar district media in-charge of the party said that due to the demise of former minister Hem Singh Bhadana, all the programs of the party have been canceled today.
Hem Singh Bhadana was a minister in Vasundhara Raje government.
The political career of former cabinet minister Hem Singh Bhadana started with student politics, after which he became an MLA twice and in 2013, he was given the post of minister during the Vasundhara Raje government.
Hem Singh Bhadana was seriously ill for the last five-six months. Despite this, his connection with the common people did not break. He met people constantly. He lost in the last assembly elections by a very small margin.
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma expressed grief
Expressing his condolences, Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma said, “The news of the demise of senior Rajasthan BJP leader, former minister Hem Singh Bhadana is extremely sad. He always gave priority to public interest and the development of the state. His demise is an irreparable loss for the BJP family and the politics of Rajasthan. May God rest his soul in His holy feet and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this grief.”
Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie expressed grief
Congress leader Tikaram Julie said, “The news of the sudden demise of former minister and former Thanagaji MLA Hemsingh Bhadana is extremely sad. In this hour of grief, my deepest condolences are with the bereaved family. I pray to God to give place to the departed soul in His holy feet and give strength to the family members to bear this unbearable grief.”
