The famous Gharana Singh Mansion of Koyalanchal Dhanbad is once again in the headlines. The incident of bombing has come to light in Singh Mansion located in Saraidhela police station area late on Sunday night. As soon as information about the incident was received, City SP Ritwik Srivastava reached the spot with his team and started investigating the entire matter.
According to the information received, between 11:30 and 12 o’clock in the night, criminals riding a bike threw two bombs targeting Singh Mansion. One of these bombs exploded inside the gate of Singh Mansion, while the other one fell outside. It is being told that people usually sit there where the bomb blast took place. It is fortunate that there were no casualties in this incident.
Sanjeev Singh and Ragini Singh were at home at the time of the bombing.
At the time of the incident, former Jharia MLA Sanjeev Singh and his wife Jharia MLA Ragini Singh were present in their room. There was chaos in the housing complex after the bombing. The people inside and the security guards ran outside, but by then the criminals had fled.
Police is examining CCTV footage
After receiving the information, City SP Ritwik Srivastava reached the spot and first took information about the incident from former MLA Sanjeev Singh. After this the police examined the CCTV cameras installed in Singh Mansion. Police have taken the CCTV DVR with them for investigation. Police are also scanning the footage of the surrounding areas.
City SP Ritwik Srivastava said that the police team had reached the spot after receiving information about the bombing. The matter is being investigated seriously and all points are being investigated. An official statement from the police is yet to come.
