There was a time in Bollywood when Aamir Khan’s nephew Imran Khan made his debut with the film ‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na’. The film was released in 2008. Whereas Ranbir Kapoor’s film ‘Saawariya’ was released a year before that i.e. in 2007. The looks of both had won the hearts of people. However, Ranbir’s career steadily progressed towards success, while many of Imran’s films flopped. Now Imran shared the things about the time when Ranbir used to be his competitor.
never met on personal level
While talking to News18, Imran told that he and Ranbir never got along well personally. Both of them met only while working in Bollywood. At that time there were some reports that there was tension between the two regarding competition. Imran said, ‘You heard something, read something because the things were made up. The way all this was shown in the media, perhaps a good relationship got spoiled even before it could be formed.
Imran’s opinion on Ranbir’s growth
Imran said that he has been cut off from Indian cinema for some years. He has not seen ‘Animal’ yet, so it is difficult to say much about Ranbir’s recent growth. But he also said that he has seen all Ranbir’s films when he was active and has always appreciated his work.
Imran says about Ranbir’s acting
Imran praised Ranbir and said, ‘I have always considered him a strong actor. According to my understanding, he is a thinking cinema person. His instincts are very strong and he understands the craft of acting and the language of cinema very well.

Imran recently did a cameo in Veer Das’s film ‘Happy Patel Dangerous Detective’ which was liked a lot. Now he is going to make a full comeback with ‘Adhure Hum Adhure Tum’. Ranbir will next be seen in ‘Love and War’ with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. Apart from this, he will also be seen in ‘Animal Park’ which is the second part of Animal.
