Then Sunny Deol starrer this war drama blew up in the second weekend also. But like most big films, its earnings are seeing a huge decline after the weekend.
- On the 11th day (second Monday), the film’s earnings declined by 74.44% as expected and it earned Rs 5.75 crore. The earnings of this film have remained stable on the 12th day of its release.
- According to Sacknilk data, ‘Border 2’ has collected Rs 5.75 crore on the 12th day of its release i.e. second Tuesday.
- With this, the total earnings of ‘Border 2’ in 12 days has now reached Rs 286.75 crore.
‘Border 2’ budget vs box office
According to media reports, Border 2 has been made with a huge budget of around Rs 275 crore. If these figures are correct, then the Sunny Deol-starrer film has already achieved a big milestone at the box office. With strong theatrical earnings so far, Border 2 has recovered its entire production costs, a 100% budget recovery in less than two weeks of release. That means now this film is earning profits.
