Pakistan has refused to play the match against India in the T-20 World Cup tournament. The atmosphere is heated regarding this. Meanwhile, Pakistani female YouTuber Sana Amjad went among the people and took feedback from them. He questioned what would be the impact if Pakistan actually does not play matches against India. On this, a person said that the cost of the cricket match between India and Pakistan is being said to be around Rs 2300 crore. If Pakistan sticks to its decision and does not play the match against India on 15th February, then a big controversy will arise and it will have to pay Rs 2300 crore as fine. However, despite this, the Pakistani people say that Pakistan’s decision to boycott is absolutely right.
Taking aim at ICC, a Pakistani person said that at present ICC is not working like an impartial organization, rather it has become like Indian Cricket Council. The reason given is that a major part of ICC’s income comes from the Indian Cricket Board. For this reason the views of other cricket boards are not taken seriously. The Pakistani man said that the decision is related to respect and self-respect and in the coming times ICC will have to accept that cricket is incomplete without Pakistan.
Indian broadcasters will suffer losses
The cost of the cricket match between India and Pakistan is said to be around Rs 2300 crore. Pakistani people say that due to boycott of Pakistan, there may be some reduction in the tournament money received from ICC. For example, if Pakistan was to get Rs 50 crore, it might get Rs 35 crore, but it is not considered a huge loss. The real loss is said to be to the ICC and the Indian broadcasters, who have invested heavily in the India-Pakistan match. It is said that every minute of advertisement of this match is sold in crores. Pakistan argues that this tournament is not its domestic tournament, hence the economic loss will be limited.
