Why did Abhishek Sharma retire out?

Abhishek Sharma was not in his rhythm during the practice match against South Africa. It is very rare to see that the teammate opening the innings with him scores a half-century and he is not able to score even 25 runs. However, this was seen in the warm-up match against South Africa. Ishaan scored a brilliant half-century in 20 balls, while Abhishek scored only 24 runs in 18 balls. After hitting 3 fours and 1 six in this innings, Abhishek decided to return from the field to the pavilion, because Abhishek was not able to time the ball. Therefore, he thought it right to give other batsmen a chance to practice.
