A golden opportunity has emerged for the youth preparing for government jobs in Uttarakhand. The state school education department has issued a notification for recruitment to Group D posts. A total of 2364 vacant posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. Applications for the recruitment process have been invited through online medium and interested candidates can submit their applications by 05 March 2026. This recruitment will be done in various districts of the state, which is likely to increase employment opportunities at the local level.
In which districts will the recruitment take place?
According to the information released by the Education Department, this recruitment will be done in different districts of Uttarakhand. Maximum 340 posts have been removed in Pauri district. After this, 268 posts are vacant in Tehri and 254 posts in Almora. Recruitment will be done on 208 posts in Nainital, 197 in Pithoragarh and 195 in Dehradun. 182 posts will be filled in Udham Singh Nagar and 179 in Chamoli. There will be recruitment on 91 posts in Haridwar and 89 posts in Bageshwar. Apart from this, some posts are also vacant in districts like Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag and Champawat.
Ability
To apply for these posts, the candidate must have passed at least class 5. Apart from this, the remaining eligibility conditions will be as per the rules decided by the department. Candidates are advised to check the official information before applying.
what will be the age limit
The age of the candidate applying should be 18 years, while the maximum age has been fixed at 42 years. Apart from this, the candidates who come from reserved category will also be given age relaxation as per the government rules.
last date of application
The last date to apply for these posts has been kept as 5 March 2026. Candidates have been advised to apply in time, because they will not get the chance later.
