Ministry of Defense, Government of India has issued recruitment notice number 01/2026 for direct recruitment of Group-C staff in 61 Cavalry, Jaipur. Under this recruitment, applications have been invited from eligible Indian citizens for the post of SI. This recruitment is especially for those youth who have passed 10th and are looking for government jobs. Information related to recruitment has been published in the employment news and as per the notification, the last date of application has been kept 21 days from the date of publication in the employment news. This will also include Sundays and government holidays.
A total of 12 posts will be filled under this recruitment. All the posts are of Group-C category. Selected candidates will be given a salary of Rs 18,000 to 56,900 per month under Pay Matrix Level-1, apart from this, other allowances will also be given as per the rules of the Central Government. This recruitment will be done in offline mode and candidates will have to send their applications through post. The job location has been fixed as Jaipur and New Delhi.

Talking about educational qualification, the candidate must have passed 10th from a recognized board. Candidates having any other recognized qualification equivalent to this can also apply. The age limit has been fixed for different categories. For candidates belonging to economically weaker sections, the age limit has been kept at 18 to 25 years. The age limit has been fixed at 18 to 28 years for Other Backward Classes and 18 to 30 years for Scheduled Tribes. According to the rules of the Central Government, age relaxation can be given to government employees up to a maximum of 35 years.

The vacancies have also been distributed category wise. 4 posts have been reserved for Economically Weaker Section, 7 posts for Other Backward Classes and 1 post for Scheduled Tribes. In this way, recruitment will be done on a total of 12 posts.
Selection will be like this
The selection process will be completed in several phases. First of all all the application forms will be scrutinized. Sorting can be done on the basis of number of applications and candidate’s qualification or 10th marks. After this the qualified candidates will be called for offline written examination. Medical examination will be conducted for the candidates who are successful in the written examination. Besides, their original educational certificates, character certificate and previous experience, if any, will also be examined.
How to apply?
To apply, candidates will have to prepare a typed application form on A4 size paper. It is necessary to attach copies of all the necessary documents with the application. Apart from this, it will also be necessary to send a self-addressed envelope with postal stamp along with the application. The complete application form along with all the documents will have to be sent by post to the prescribed address.
