How Prateek Smita Patil proposed to Priya Banerjee
Prateik Smita Patil recalled, ‘I had planned to propose Priya on the evening of my birthday. But there was some work the next day for which we had to leave early in the morning, so if I had proposed at that time, we would not have been able to enjoy that moment. He further said, ‘Then two days ago, on Sunday morning, I was sitting on my ‘throne’, when I realized that we had the whole day to ourselves and it was the perfect day to propose.’
Proposed at 8 in the morning
On November 26, 2024, Prateik finally took that step, after five years of being together. He sneaked out of the bathroom and brought the ring which he had hidden earlier. Priya Banerjee told, ‘It was 8 in the morning and I saw Prateek crying in the corner, so I was wondering what happened. I was lying on the bed with my dog and suddenly Prateek came near me and proposed to me. He was so emotional that I couldn’t even understand the first question.
Priya further said, ‘He got down on one knee, this moment was absolutely perfect because we also had our dog with us who was wagging his tail. It was like a small celebration for all three of us. He told that he had an idea that the proposal was going to happen because Prateek had talked to his parents, but did not know when and how it would happen. ‘I’m glad he did it on the day I least expected it.’
