India vs Pakistan Match News: Former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly has reprimanded Pakistan on the Boycott issue. Pakistan had refused to play the match with India in the T20 World Cup. Sourav Ganguly slammed Pakistan

Speaking to reporters on Sunday, reacting to Pakistan’s decision to boycott, he said, “Why is Pakistan boycotting the World Cup match? They are playing their matches in Sri Lanka. I am surprised by Pakistan’s decision to boycott. In a World Cup, every point is important.”

Pakistan had earlier announced that it was boycotting the match against Team India in support of Bangladesh not traveling to India. Bangladesh, whose demand to change the venue was rejected by ICC.

Captain Suryakumar Yadav has given statement

Before the start of T20 World Cup 2026, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav has made it clear that Team India will go to Colombo to play the match on 15th February. He said that it was not Team India that refused to play the match but Pakistan. He said that India will be present in the field following all the rules.

According to some media reports, the possibility of Pakistan withdrawing the decision of boycott has increased. On Sunday, representatives of the International Cricket Council reached Pakistan, while Bangladesh Cricket Board President Aminul Islam Bulbul also reached Pakistan. After the meeting, a positive decision is expected on the India vs Pakistan match.
