Pakistan Placed Three Demands Before The ICC: Dark clouds are still looming over the India vs Pakistan match in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. Pakistan has refused to play matches against India in this tournament. However, till now the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not given written information to the International Cricket Council (ICC) regarding this. In such a situation, it is expected that India vs Pakistan match will be seen on 15th February.
ICC is also making every possible effort to organize the biggest India vs Pakistan match of T20 World Cup 2026. On Sunday, February 8, a meeting was held between ICC and PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi, in which the President of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) was also present. Pakistan has placed three big demands before the ICC to end the match boycott against India. One of these demands is such that India will never agree to it.
Pakistan placed these three demands before ICC
According to a report by Telecom Asia Sport, PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi has put three conditions before the ICC to end the boycott call of the match against India. He demanded more revenue share from the world body and also demanded resumption of bilateral cricket with India. Apart from this, he has also demanded that Indian players join hands with Pakistani players in the T20 World Cup 2026.
First demand – Pakistan needs more revenue from the world body.
Second demand – Bilateral cricket with India should start again.
Third demand – Indian players should join hands with Pakistani players in T20 World Cup 2026.
India will never accept Pakistan’s second demand
India will never agree to the second demand placed before the ICC by Pakistan. The last bilateral series between India and Pakistan was played in the year 2012. Due to political tension, for the last 16 years both the teams have played against each other only in ICC tournaments. After the Pahalgam terrorist attack in India last year, India’s stance against Pakistan has become more tough. After this attack, Team India has stopped shaking hands with Pakistani players from Asia Cup 2025 itself. Even if the remaining two demands of Pakistan are fulfilled, resumption of the bilateral series seems quite difficult.
