The initial post-mortem report of Kamal, who died in this accident due to falling into a pit dug by Delhi Jal Board, has come. According to the report, Kamal died due to suffocation and the matter is said to be an accident. This accident happened late night on 6 February, information about which came to the administration the next morning.

Difficulty in breathing due to heavy weight falling on the chest!

It has been clarified in the post mortem report that during the accident, Kamal’s bike might have fallen on him, due to which there was heavy pressure on his chest. According to the report, the process of breathing was disrupted due to the fall of some hard and heavy object on the chest. Along with this, due to mud filling in the mouth and nose of the deceased, he had difficulty in breathing and ultimately he died due to suffocation. However, the exact time of death has not been clearly recorded in the report.

Burn marks were also found on the body!

Important information has also come to light regarding burn marks found on the body during post-mortem. According to the report, the burn mark found on the right thigh of the deceased may have been caused after death. It is suspected that this mark was formed due to a part of the body remaining in contact with the bike’s silencer for a long time after the accident. The report also says that this burn mark is not directly related to the death.

It is noteworthy that this accident happened in Janakpuri area of ​​West Delhi at a time when excavation work was going on by Delhi Jal Board on the road. It has also come to light that the pit was not adequately fenced or had warning signs. The deceased has been identified as Kamal, who was working as Assistant Manager in HDFC Bank. He was a resident of Kailashpuri and was returning home from his office in Rohini at the time of the incident. After the accident, this case has raised many questions regarding administrative negligence and investigation is going on.
