Stock Market Today: The second trading session of the week in the Indian stock market, Tuesday, February 10, had a positive start to the trading day. Major benchmark indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 opened trading in the green.

Sensex rose by 485.35 points or 0.58 percent to 84,065.75 points, while NSE Nifty 50 jumped by 173.60 points or 0.68 percent to end the trading day at 25,867.30.

Talking about the top gainers from BSE basket, SBI N, Titan, Tata Steel and Eternal were. The top losers were Power Grid, ITC, NTPC, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank.

There was a rise in the shares of Nifty 100, Nifty Bank, Nifty FMCG, Nifty Midcap 100, Nifty Smallcap 100, Nifty IT and Nifty Auto. On Monday’s trading day, 22 shares from the BSE basket closed in the green and 8 shares recorded a decline.
