Rajpal Yadav has recently surrendered in Tihar Jail. Now meanwhile, Sonu Sood has extended his hand to support the actor in his difficult times. He has even called Rajpal Yadav a gifted actor. Sonu Sood has also promised that he will cast Rajpal Yadav in his upcoming film and will give him the signing amount in return.
Not only this, he has also requested other producers of the industry to support Rajpal Yadav in this difficult time. Sonu Sood shared the post on social media and wrote, ‘Rajpal Yadav is a talented actor, who has given unforgettable work to our industry for years. Sometimes life is unfair to us. The reason for this is not lack of talent, but the ravages of time. He will be a part of my film and I believe this is the time for all of us producers, directors and colleagues to stand together.

In his post, Sonu wrote, ‘A small signing fee given in exchange for future work is not a donation, but his respect. When one of our own is going through a difficult time, the industry should remind him that he is not alone. This is how we prove that we are not just an industry, but a family.
Let us tell you that Rajpal Yadav had borrowed Rs 5 crore from Murali Projects in the year 2010 to finance Ata Pata Laapta. This film failed at the box office. After that, there was no money in the actor’s bank and hence the check given to Murali Private Limited bounced.
This matter had reached the court. The court gave relief to Rajpal Yadav several times, but he could not return this amount. In such a situation, the court ordered him to surrender in Tihar Jail. Before surrendering, Rajpal Yadav said emotionally, ‘There is no solution in sight. There is no money and no friends.’ I will have to deal with this problem alone.
