Actor Ranveer Singh has received threats and crores of rupees have been demanded. Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone have increased their security. Six armed guards were deployed at the actor’s flat. But there has been controversy regarding this security. There was a dispute regarding security in his Beau Monde Society located in Worli area of Mumbai.
A complaint has been lodged at Dadar Police Station. The society claims that the deployment has been done without permission. There is an atmosphere of concern due to the movement of guards with weapons in the common area. Questions are also being raised on the presence of a uniformed policeman. The society sought official clarification from Dadar Police. Police sent officers to the spot and investigation began.
Security guards deployed without permission
The society has also written a letter. It was written in it- This letter is in the context of our meeting held in your office yesterday. In this, the topic of armed security personnel deployed by Mr. Ranveer Singh and Ms. Deepika Padukone, residents of Beau Monde Society, flat no. 2602, was discussed. During the meeting you were informed that six armed private security guards have been deployed by the above mentioned residents without taking prior permission or approval from the Society Managing Committee. It has also been seen that a uniformed policeman is also deployed with him, which was not there earlier.
It was further written in the letter – These armed security guards keep moving with weapons in the common areas of the society like lobby and children’s play area. Therefore, the Society Managing Committee has expressed serious concern regarding the safety and convenience of other residents. In this context, the Society Managing Committee wants clarification on the following points-
1. Are the deployed private security guards carrying licensed weapons inside the residential complex?
2. Has any permission in this regard been granted by your office, i.e. Dadar Police Station?
3. Details of the police personnel posted at the concerned flat, from which department he has been posted and what is the nature of his posting?
It is requested to please provide the above information as soon as possible, so that the concerns of the society residents can be properly resolved. Thank you.
