Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav is in Tihar jail in check bounce case. The actor himself has surrendered due to not being able to repay the loan. Since then the actor has been in the news a lot. Rajpal had given an emotional statement before going to jail, after which he has started getting help from the industry also. All big and small celebs are coming forward to help the actor. Meanwhile, for the first time after surrender, Rajpal Yadav’s wife Radha Yadav has given a statement. In which he has thanked those who helped.

In an interview given to news agency PTI, Radha Yadav has thanked all those celebs who have supported her in this adverse situation. Radha said, ‘Everyone has supported him. The industry has been very supportive. Many thanks to all those who are coming forward and helping.
People from the industry extended a helping hand
When this news came out after Rajpal Yadav’s surrender, actor Sonu Sood first talked about helping Rajpal. He has also appealed to the people associated with the industry to help Rajpal. After which celebs are coming forward one after the other and helping Rajpal. In which names of other celebs like Salman, Ajay Devgan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Mika Singh, Kamal R Khan, Gurmeet Choudhary are also coming to the fore.
What is the whole matter?
This incident happened in 2010 when Rajpal Yadav had taken a loan of Rs 5 crore from a company for his directorial debut. With which he made a film named ‘Ata Pata Lapata’. But this film flopped and the money to make the film could not be recovered. Due to several consecutive check bounces, action was taken against Rajpal, after which the court gave him time in the year 2024, but Rajpal could not raise the amount and he surrendered in Delhi’s Tihar Jail on 10 February. With interest being charged since 2010, this amount has now become Rs 9 crore.
