There are some fruits which can increase problems if eaten early in the morning without eating anything. Let us tell you which fruits should be avoided in winter.

Orange, Lemon, Grapefruit

In winter season, sour fruits like orange, lemon, grapefruit are easily available. These contain Vitamin C in abundance and eating them in limited quantity is also beneficial. But eating them on an empty stomach in the morning can cause irritation in the inner layer of the stomach, especially for those people who suffer from gastritis or acid reflux. Therefore, even if you are consuming them, you should try to consume them in limited quantities.

Apple

Apple is available in every season and the saying “An apple a day keeps the doctor away” is also famous. However, eating apple after being on an empty stomach for a long time can be heavy for some people. It is high in fiber and fructose, which can cause flatulence, indigestion or sudden fluctuations in sugar levels. Therefore, it should be consumed thoughtfully.

Grape

Sweet fruits like watermelon, cantaloupe and honeydew are certainly delicious, but eating them in large quantities on an empty stomach can increase blood sugar rapidly. They contain high amount of water, which can also affect the acid balance of the stomach.

Banana is also not considered good to eat after being on an empty stomach for a long time. It contains high amounts of potassium, magnesium and sugar. Especially people with heart related problems should be careful.
