Kunrathur is a 800 year old temple dedicated to Sri Nageswara Rahu, which was built by the poet and devotee Sri Sekkijhar. The statues of Shri Nageshwar and Goddess Shri Kamakshi are present in it. Devotees come here to get relief from problems related to Rahu.
Gerugambakkam is a temple dedicated to Sri Neelkandeshwara Ketu, where devotees come to this temple to get relief from Ketu Dosha. This temple built during the Chola period remained incomplete due to foreign invasions. The main deity here is Shri Neelkandeshwar and Goddess Shri Adi Kamakshi.
