Now CBI has been entered to investigate the death of Patna NEET student. On Thursday (February 12, 2026), CBI has registered an FIR in Patna to investigate this entire matter. The Central Investigation Agency has filed this case under case number 7S/26. A case has been registered against many unknown accused. Now it has to be seen whether CBI is able to solve the mystery of this case after its investigation or not.
CBI action started after 12 days
On January 31, the state government had requested the Central Government to investigate this matter. Home Department Minister cum Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Samrat Chaudhary had given information in this regard through social media. Now after about 12 days, CBI action has been seen.

The family is not satisfied with the SIT investigation
Let us tell you that SIT is investigating the death of NEET student. Samples of many people have been taken for DNA testing. However, the SIT has not yet reached any conclusion. The student’s family had even alleged that the SIT was pressurizing them. The same types of things are being asked again and again. They are not satisfied with the investigation. The family members had also met the DGP of Bihar. Now it remains to be seen whether anything comes out when CBI starts investigation.
The opposition is continuously cornering the government.
The investigation into the death of the NEET student is going on but after no results are available, the opposition is continuously attacking the government. Rabri Devi has even alleged that some minister or minister’s son is involved in this scandal. However, on this Samrat Chaudhary had replied that the name of Rabri Devi should be told. Whoever it is will be arrested within 24 hours.
