Tata Punch

Tata Punch is currently the cheapest SUV in India, with a starting price of Rs 5.59 lakh. With the 2026 facelift, Tata has given many styling and feature updates in it. Along with this, the company has also introduced a new 120hp turbo-petrol engine. The old 1.2-litre petrol and CNG engine options have also been continued. Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger

The starting price of Nissan Magnite is Rs 5.62 lakh and it shares the same platform as Renault Kiger. It also has CNG option along with 1.0-litre petrol and turbo-petrol engine. Whereas Renault Kiger starts at a price of Rs 5.76 lakh. The option of more powerful turbo engine and CVT gearbox is also given in Kiger, which makes it special in this segment.

Hyundai Exter and Maruti Fronx

The starting price of Hyundai Exter is Rs 5.64 lakh and it is the entry-level SUV of the company. It is available with 1.2-litre petrol and CNG engines with manual and AMT gearboxes. Maruti Suzuki Fronx, on the other hand, starts at Rs 6.85 lakh. Based on Baleno, the Frontex comes with a more stylish design and petrol, turbo-petrol and CNG engine options.
