Sad news has come to light in Dalelgarh village of Dankaur Kotwali area of Greater Noida, where a three year old child died due to drowning in the water filled in a deep pit. Since then there is chaos in the family. Since the incident, there is anger among the family members against the administration.
Actually, Anjali, daughter of Anil, resident of Dalelgarh village, had come to her maternal home. Anjali has her in-laws’ house in Secunderabad, Bulandshahr. Along with Anjaji, she had also come to Dalelgarh with her three year old son Devansh and daughter. There is a temple near Anil’s house.
Child fell into pit while playing
On the occasion of Mahashivratri, Bhandara was organized in the temple. Anjali had gone to the temple with her children and other family members. The family members got busy in the ongoing puja and bhandara in the temple. At the same time, Devansh, playing with his sister, went near the water filled deep pit built on the government land near the temple, out of sight.
When the child was not visible to anyone, a search for him was started. He was searched for a long time in the temple. When no clue was found, some people went near the pit. Wherever he appeared, the ground slipped from under the feet of the villagers.

The child was immediately pulled out of the water and taken to a private hospital for treatment. Where the doctors declared him dead. There has been chaos in the family since the incident. Villagers told that the pit remains filled with water.
Complaint was made in January itself
Due to its proximity to the temple, there is a possibility of an accident. In the month of January, a complaint was made to the officials of Greater Noida Authority. Due to lack of action this accident happened. Villagers say that this accident happened due to the negligence of the officials.
Dankaur police station in-charge Munendra Singh said that the police had reached the spot after receiving the information. But the family has refused to conduct post-mortem. At present no complaint has been given from his side. Upon receiving the complaint, investigation will be done and action will be taken.
Authority’s statement on Dalelgarh incident
On receiving information about the death of a 3 year old child due to drowning in the water filled in a pit near the temple in Dalelgarh village, the team of the concerned work circle of the authority immediately reached the spot. The team has come to know that this land is registered in the name of a farmer of the village itself. This is not a government pond.
The pit on this land was filled with water, in which the child died due to drowning. Authority officials are also deeply saddened by this incident.
