A massive fire incident is coming to light in Kursela Bazaar Haat under Kursela police station area of ​​Katihar district of Bihar on Sunday (February 15). Due to the fire, the goods kept in around 200 shops were burnt to ashes. Within no time the fire took a huge form and there was chaos in the entire market area. There is a possibility of loss worth crores of rupees due to this terrible fire.

This fire broke out near Kursela Durga temple. The fire broke out at around 7.35 in the evening. For this, small and big fire engines reached the spot, but the fire was not found under control. Hatiya’s existence seems to be in danger due to this fire.

According to eyewitnesses, as soon as the fire broke out, shopkeepers started taking out goods from their respective establishments. Many people were seen running here and there in an attempt to save their shops, while the shops in which the flames had reached, kept helplessly watching everything burn.

Damage to property worth crores of rupees

It is being told that property worth crores of rupees has been damaged in this fire. More than hundreds of shops have been completely burnt to ashes. As soon as information about the incident was received, fire brigade vehicles reached the spot, but the fire was so severe that it took a lot of effort to control it.

The fire was continuously spreading in the area, due to which there was an atmosphere of panic among the nearby shopkeepers. Amidst the chaos, everyone is running to save their lives. Local police administration, police station chief and zonal officer were present on the spot.

Relief and rescue work is being done under the supervision of the administration. The cause of the fire has not been clearly known yet. The damage is being assessed by the administration. Also, the police is currently making efforts to rescue the people caught in the fire. Fire engines are trying to control the fire.
