Priyanka Chopra is one of the few Indian stars who made her mark not only in Bollywood but also in Hollywood and today she has become a global icon. At the peak of her career in Hindi cinema, the actress moved to the United States to seek opportunities in Hollywood, and restarted her career from there. In a recent interview, Priyanka revealed that she never wanted to leave Bollywood, but was “pushed” to explore opportunities outside Hindi cinema.

In fact, while talking about her journey from Bollywood to Hollywood during an interview with Firstpost, Priyanka said, “I don’t think I ever wanted to leave Bollywood. When I was working in Hindi films, for many reasons I felt limited. I wanted to move forward. I was pressured to find opportunities that were exciting for me as an artist. I started working in America, and now, I think, for about 12 years. “After this, I’m really getting the momentum to choose amazing work, and it’s not easy.”

She added, “I love my Indian films. I’m so happy to be back in Varanasi, India, and I wouldn’t really love to choose between the two. I never would have. I feel like I belong in both worlds, and I enjoy working in both industries. Working in both is different in a lot of ways, as are the cultures, but now my brain can work in two different modes, so it’s been a really unique, amazing, fun experience.” It’s a thing.”
Priyanka’s journey in Hollywood
When Priyanka started her music career in 2012, she started looking for opportunities in Hollywood. He made his acting debut in West as a lead role in the television show Quantico. Talking about Priyanka’s upcoming projects, the actress will be seen in The Bluff, directed by Frank E. Flowers. This is a pirate adventure film which also stars Ismael Cruz Cordova, Safiya Oakley-Green and Temuera Morrison in important roles. This film is going to be released on Amazon Prime Video on 25th February.
Priyanka has S. S. There is also Rajamouli’s Varanasi. With this film he is returning to Indian cinema after eight years. The film also stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran and is scheduled to release in theaters in April 2027.
