A shocking and very serious case of negligence has come to light in a private school in Noida which has shocked the parents. An innocent student studying in UKG remained locked inside the school bus for about 7 hours and no one took care of him. The bus was parked in a deserted parking yard, about 25 kilometers away from the school, while the child remained sleeping inside it.
According to family members, on Thursday morning the child was seated in the school bus as usual, but on the way he fell asleep and fell asleep. It is alleged that after reaching the school, the bus staff did not check whether all the children had alighted or not and the bus was parked directly in the parking yard. During this time the child remained locked inside the bus from morning to afternoon.
Child found crying badly in bus
When the mother came to pick up the child during the afternoon break, he was not present at the stand. When the school administration was contacted, no clear information was given. After a lot of search, the child was found inside the same bus parked in the parking yard. Family members say that the child was sweaty and very nervous. He was crying continuously.
It was fortunate that no major accident occurred, otherwise the situation could have been catastrophic. The mother of the victim child wrote an emotional open letter after this incident, in which she made serious allegations against the school management. The mother said that the child was recorded as absent in the class register, whereas his presence was recorded in the bus attendance register. Despite this, he was not given any notice of absence.
Family members demanded action against school management
The incident has raised big questions on the school transport system and security arrangements. Generally, it is the responsibility of the bus driver and conductor to do a thorough inspection after evacuating the bus. Also, if a child does not reach class, the school administration should immediately inform the parents.
The victim’s family has demanded strict action against the culprits.
While giving clarification, school principal Renu Singh said that due to technical fault in the bus, the children were shifted to another bus. However, how the concerned child remained in the bus is being investigated.
