- A significant increase was also seen in 18 carat gold on Saturday. It increased by Rs 535 and closed at Rs 12653 per gram. Meanwhile, at the broader level, the price of 100 grams of 18 carat gold increased by Rs 53500 to Rs 12,65,300.

That means gold has become costlier on Sunday compared to Saturday. The price of 24 carat gold has increased by Rs 4370 per 10 grams in a day. Similarly, 22 carat gold has become costlier by Rs 4020 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of 18 carat gold has increased by Rs 3280 in a day.
