How many types are there?
Generally, humans have four wisdom teeth, one each on the top and bottom. However, it is not necessary for everyone to have all four. If wisdom teeth emerge properly and do not cause any problem, then there is no need to remove them. But if there is pain or infection, the dentist can remove them under local or, if necessary, general anesthesia.
