Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, while speaking on the budget, said that this budget is going to move forward in the direction of development for the year 2047. He said that the government is preparing plans keeping in mind the long-term development of the state.
Remembering former Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, the Chief Minister said that his heart is heavy. He told that Ajit Dada had presented the budget 11 times and due to his strict nature, the tradition of discipline and efficiency was maintained in the administration. The Chief Minister said that a grand memorial will be built to pay tribute to his work. Besides, a civil award will also be started in his name. He said that this budget is dedicated to him.
The Chief Minister said that 200 years of the birth anniversary of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule are going to be completed. On this occasion, various programs will be organized by forming a committee and special funds will be given for it. He told that on the occasion of the centenary year of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, basic facilities will be developed in Raigarh.
The Chief Minister said that it will also be celebrated as the Year of Social Harmony in the state. He also told that the work of Bala Saheb Thackeray’s memorial has been completed and some new schemes related to it will also be started.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that Maharashtra’s role will be important in the goal of taking the country’s economy to five trillion dollars, because Maharashtra is like the economic engine of the country and the state will have a big contribution in it.

He said that a glimpse of developed Maharashtra will be seen in this budget. The state government has prepared a vision document for this. Four major pillars have been decided for regional balanced development and 16 sub-centres have been identified under them. The Chief Minister said that a glimpse of this scheme will be visible in every upcoming budget.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that the government has set four major pillars to ensure regional balanced development. These include pillars like progressive, capable, all-inclusive and good governance.
He said that keeping in mind the goal of developed Maharashtra, 16 sub-regions have also been determined. The Chief Minister said that in all the upcoming budgets, a glimpse of developed Maharashtra will be visible and schemes will be taken forward in that direction.
