A day before the match, the rents of these hotels have reached Rs 60 thousand to Rs 1 lakh. In such a situation, many people are turning to nearby areas to stay within the budget. Some hotels are still comparatively cheaper in areas like Gandhinagar and Prahlad Nagar, where rooms are available between Rs 15,000 and Rs 25,000. The special thing is that the distance of the stadium from Gandhinagar is about 20 minutes and metro connectivity is also available from here.

Metro is the easiest option to reach the stadium

There is a possibility of heavy traffic around the stadium on the day of the match. It is estimated that the roads will become very busy after 2 pm. In such a situation, using Ahmedabad Metro is considered to be the best option. The Red Line of Ahmedabad Metro goes directly to the stadium. Metro services will run till 12:30 pm on the match day so that people can easily go back even after the match is over. Apart from this, a special paper ticket of Rs 50 has also been issued for the passengers, which will provide the facility of commuting. This ticket can be purchased in advance at many metro stations in the city like Kalupur and Old High Court station. Metro trains will be available every 15 minutes on match days.

Rules related to entry into the stadium

Security arrangements are going to be very tight at Narendra Modi Stadium. Spectators may have to go through at least three levels of security check. The gates of the stadium will open at 4 pm and the match will start at 7 pm. In view of the crowd, spectators are being advised to reach before time.
