The final of the T20 World Cup 2026 will be played between India and New Zealand on Sunday, March 08 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Before the match, a ‘Closing Ceremony’ of the tournament will be organised, in which international stars will also be seen making their mark.
International Cricket Council i.e. ICC has released the list of performers performing in the closing ceremony, in which the name of international pop singer Ricky Martin is also included.
ICC gave update
Let us tell you that the names of three singers including Ricky Martin are included in the update issued by ICC. The remaining two names include Indian singers Sukhbir and Falguni Pathak.

While posting, ICC wrote in the caption, “The stage is getting even bigger! Global superstar Ricky Martin will be joined by music legends Sukhbir and Falguni Pathak in the closing ceremony before the T20 World Cup final! These veteran artists are going to spread their magic on the biggest night of cricket, so get ready for global hit songs and desi songs.”
What time will the closing ceremony start?
The final match will start at 7 pm at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Before this, the closing ceremony will start at 5.30 pm, in which the performance of all three singers will be seen.
India reached the final after defeating England
It is noteworthy that Team India, captained by Suryakumar Yadav, won the semi-finals by defeating England by 7 runs. The match played at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium was breath-taking. Now the teams of India and New Zealand will face each other in the final. The Indian team has reached the final of the T20 World Cup for the second consecutive time. In the last T20 World Cup of 2024, Team India had won the title under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. Now it will be interesting to see how the Indian team performs this time.
