A case of molestation of a girl has come to light in Shivajinagar area of Pune. The delivery boy has been accused of molesting a woman. It is alleged that after ordering from a private app, the delivery boy who came to deliver the goods touched the girl’s hand and misbehaved. A case has been registered in this matter at Shivajinagar Police Station. This incident happened on 6th March.
According to the information given by the police, a woman living in Shivajinagar area had ordered some goods from a mobile app. On March 6, at around 5 pm, the delivery boy reached her house with the goods.
Delivery boy molests girl on the pretext of drinking water
When the delivery boy arrived, the girl opened the door and took the goods from him. After delivering the parcel, the delivery boy asked the girl for drinking water. The girl gave him water. Meanwhile, the delivery boy touched her hand and said, “You are looking very beautiful.” This scared the girl.
Police busy searching for accused delivery boy
The woman’s child and mother-in-law were present at home at the time of the incident. She told her husband about the incident. After this both of them went straight to Shivajinagar police station and lodged a complaint. Shivajinagar police is searching for the accused. In such a situation, CCTV footage of the accused has now come to light, on the basis of which the search for the accused is going on.
Last year there was an incident of rape of a minor in Pune.
Last year in December, a case of rape of a minor girl came to light in Vishrantwadi area of Pune, Maharashtra. On December 4, a boy was accused of raping a minor girl. The girl informed her family about the incident, after which the victim’s family lodged a complaint at the police station. A case was registered against the accused under several sections.
