After the trailer of Dhurandhar 2 was released last week, advance booking for its paid preview shows had started. The interesting thing is that it is getting better response than expected in the pre-ticket sale. Dhurandhar: The Revenge is a pan-India film, which is releasing in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
- Let us tell you that till now the film has sold 3.48 lakh tickets for 8,337 shows across India.
- According to the report of Saknilk, this film has so far earned Rs 18.64 crore from its premiere advance booking.
- According to Film Tracker, the Hindi (2D) version of Dhurandhar 2 has earned the highest amount of Rs 18.16 crore by selling 3.23 lakh tickets in 7,951 shows.
- Whereas Hindi Dolby Cinema format has earned another Rs 1.57 lakh from 203 tickets.
- Talking about the dubbed version, it has earned Rs 23.58 lakh in Tamil (2D) from 15,385 tickets.
- After this, Telugu (2D) version has earned Rs 18.54 lakh from 7,827 tickets, Kannada (2D) version has earned Rs 2.04 lakh from 479 tickets and Malayalam (2D) version has earned Rs 2.25 lakh from 934 tickets in advance sale.
Even tickets worth Rs 3100 are being sold at a rapid pace.
Seeing the great response to the paid preview of Dhurandhar 2, big cinema chains like INOX, Cinepolis and PVR have started new premium categories through paid previews of Dhurandhar 2. The most expensive tickets for these shows across India have been sold at INOX Megaplex of Sky City Mall in Borivali, Mumbai. Here even the recliner prime category worth Rs 3,100 has been sold out.
