Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi has alleged that he is not allowed to speak in the House. Republican Party of India (Athawale) Chief and Central Minister Ramdas Athawale has reacted to this. Ramdas Athawale says, “It is not that only Rahul Gandhi is stopped. When such a discussion takes place or wrong statements are made, then the Speaker stops him.”
Ramdas Athawale claims, “It is not right at all that Rahul Gandhi makes such allegations. This House belongs to only one party. Everyone expresses their views, but you (the opposition) create ruckus, so they are prevented from speaking.”

Mentioned MM Naravane’s book
Ramdas Athawale further said, “Rahul Gandhi’s allegations are wrong. When Rahul Gandhi was speaking on the proposal for the President’s address, he had said the wrong thing. The book of our Army Chief MM Naravane had not even been printed. The publishing house itself had said that the book has not been printed yet. Therefore, what Rahul Gandhi said was wrong, hence he is prevented from speaking.”
RPI Chief says, “Earlier, Rahul Gandhi was speaking for only half an hour. Therefore, the allegation that he was not allowed to speak is factually wrong. By making such allegations, Rahul Gandhi is spoiling his own image. The House belongs to everyone, everyone has the right to speak here. Rahul Gandhi speaks as much as he wants to, but one should not talk by giving wrong references.”
