NTA has opened the correction window to make improvements in the application form of NEET UG 2026. Now candidates can make necessary changes in their form by visiting the official website.
Candidates who have already applied can now correct any mistakes in their form. Many times, while filling the form, some mistakes are made due to haste or lack of correct information. In such a situation, NTA gives an opportunity to the students to make corrections so that there is no further problem at the time of admission. The correction window has now opened and will be available till 11:50 pm on March 14, 2026. After this, no changes of any kind will be allowed in the form. Therefore, students have been advised to check their application form carefully in time and if there is any mistake, correct it immediately.
When will NEET UG 2026 exam be held?
NEET UG is considered to be the biggest medical entrance examination in the country. Through this examination, one can get admission in MBBS, BDS and other medical courses in the medical colleges of the country.
According to NTA, NEET UG 2026 exam will be conducted on May 3. The timing of the exam will be from 2 pm to 5 pm. This exam will be conducted offline i.e. pen and paper mode. Examination centers will be set up in many cities across the country, while some centers will also be in foreign countries so that students living there can also take the examination easily.

What information can be improved
During the correction window, candidates can make changes in some important information in their application form. Students can update the academic information related to class 10 and 12. Apart from this, changes can also be made in the state or union territory from where you have passed or are appearing in the 12th exam. Along with this, candidates can also change their category, sub-category, PwD status, signature, selection of exam city and medium of exam. NTA has also told that candidates can also make corrections in the information of either of their parents. This includes information like name, profession and educational qualification. However, changes in all the information will not be allowed, only those fields which have been decided by NTA can be edited.
How to improve the application form
- First of all, candidates should go to the official website of NEET, neet.nta.nic.in.
- There the link of NEET UG 2026 Correction Window will appear on the homepage.
- After clicking on this link, candidates will have to login with the help of their application number and password.
- After login, your filled application form will open on the screen.
- Now correct the information which needs to be changed.
- After making all the changes, check the form carefully once again and then submit it.
- After submitting the form, download the confirmation page.
